I told you that you'd be just fine. When are you going to learn to listen to your mother? I think it's painfully obvious by now that I'm always right...

PS - Don't forget about your brother's birthday party on Saturday!!! Can you pick up the cake and sneak over to decorate while we distract him and Rissa? Jenna is going to fake not feeling well so she'll be at home to help.

Love you bunches

Are you ever going to stop taunting me? It was AMAZING though - the kids are really great and the rest of the staff were really welcoming (hey, look, a perk that I'm not used to...).

If every day is half as good as today, I'll be a happy camper, that's for sure. It doesn't look like my caseload is going to be super heavy, which is a plus since I'm still rewiring my brain to operate on the pediatric frequency.

Jessica says hello, and I quote, "tell her to send me more lemon butter cookies before I die from withdrawal."

I want to hear all about it as soon as you get home. Don't make me call and hound you for details...

Congratulations, Lissi!

You officially survived your first day (not that I had any doubts). We're going to keep you on a fairly light caseload for now, just until you feel 100% comfortable with the kids again. Don't want to throw you in head first. Since there are still a few clients on caseload that you've treated before, we're going to shuffle a few of those over to you. The parents and kids have already been made aware so that there are no surprises.

We're all really excited to have you on board. As much as you think we're messing with you, we missed having you around (and so did the kids)! I'll have your new ID ready for you first thing in the morning.

Welcome back!

Happy first day, princess!

I want to hear all about it as soon as you get home. Don't make me call and hound you for details about how you had no idea what you were doing. How many kids did you irreparably damage today?

XOXO

It's a long story that I think you deserve to hear in person. I never meant to make it sound like you did anything on purpose. I know you wouldn't have done that. It was just a shock, I guess. We'll talk soon, I promise.

First of all, it looks like I need to have a chat with my mother. Secondly, you're right. It wouldn't make a difference because you are still an asshole. And just of the year? I think you're giving yourself a little too much credit there, don't you? It's really funny because you didn't seem very angry at you. If I recall correctly it was "all my fault," remember? I really don't think a legitimate reason exists for what you did, but I'm in a pretty damn great mood right now, so let's hear it. Make it short and sweet because I really don't have time to sift through bullshit right now.

Okay so, I don't really know how to start this shit without sounding like an asshole, but whatever, I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't make any difference and I'm still an asshole either way. Who's the asshole of the year? THIS GUY! Anyway, I saw your mom and she insisted that I try to contact you or something. so here's me contacting you. I know that I've got a lot of explaining to do, but I also know that it wouldn't make any difference...

I can't correct what I did and it was a pretty shitty thing to do. I admit that now. Sorry for disappearing on you. I have a legitimate reason why. I promise.

Just hear me out, please?
